Chateau Croix Mouton 2017 750ml

Composed of a blend mainly Merlot (97%) and completed with Cabernet Franc (3%), Château Croix Mouton 2017 has been aged in barrels (50% new barrels and 50% wine), a malolactic fermentation in barrels and finally 9 months of ageing.

Château Croix Mouton 2017 has a beautiful dark and deep garnet colour.
In the glass, it reveals a bouquet of black fruits mixed with toasted notes. After a short aeration, the aromas become clearer, with blackberries, plums and dried herbs.
Once in the mouth, Château Croix Mouton 2017 is full, lively, gourmet and woody. In addition to the aroma already present on the nose, notes of blackcurrant coated with oak touches are also present, as well as a line of lively and well-balanced acidity. The finish offers a beautiful length marked by vegetal and herbaceous touches.

Château Croix Mouton 2017 is already ready to be enjoyed, but its structure offers it a potential for ageing for at least 5 years.
