The 2010 Hubert Lignier Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is bright medium ruby in colour with a nose of fresh juicy red berries and a slight overlay of rustic earthy notes. On the palate, a soft entry of juicy red currants but more so, a burst of thin-skinned red cherries and berries. Very fresh and bright on the palate nonetheless. Soft throughout with a pleasant finish. Good acidity that is rather mouthwatering, possibly contributing to the freshness of the wine. Grape varietal: Pinot Noir
